Through the Volunteers Program, The Chol-Chol Foundation makes it possible to donate time and talent to help achieve the noble goal of overcoming poverty in the most destitute rural areas of the Araucania Region, Chile. Areas in which professionals can volunteer their time and energy include: - Project Management Experts - Agronomists - Veterinary - Marketing and Communication Experts

Application process
Although anyone can participate in the Volunteer programme, The Chol-Chol Foundation is most interested in having university students (both pre and post degree) work in their areas of professional activity. Professionals must provide proof of their professional qualifications. Volunteers must be flexible and adaptable and ready to take on new challenges. Fundacion Chol-Chol is a non-profit, fair trade organization that works to promote sustainable economic development for artisans in the rural Araucania region of Chile. They do this through facilitating the sale of fair-trade handicrafts, empowering artisans and raising awareness.
