Scholarships are available to residents of Alberta and are intended to assist any person who has been away from formal education and wishes to further their education and/or any student who is continuing their education.

The Council for British Archaeology (CBA) offers volunteer positions for those interested in working on an archaeological dig. Excavation sites are located around the UK. Current projects are listed online. Project length and cost varies by programme. Accommodation, meals and training are provided on most projects.
