Amigos de las Americas: The Amigos Volunteer Experience

Each AMIGOS project is designed and implemented in close collaboration with partner agencies at the local and national level, creating a network of ideas and shared efforts that help to appropriately address the needs of their host communities. Projects are mainly community based and include the development of social programmes that focus on leadership skills and sustainable development. Other programmes focus on environmental conservation and eco-tourism. Specific projects differ from year to year.
