Class Afloat - West Island College International: Study and sail your way around the world

Class Afloat is a leader in experiential education, an accredited high school and proud partner of Acadia University. For over 30 years, Class Afloat has been providing students with the life-changing opportunity to spend a semester or a full year at sea aboard a majestic tall ship while earning full academic credits, exploring new cultures and shaping their understanding of the world around them.

The Class Afloat program offers grade 11, 12, first-year university and gap year students the opportunity to join a community of motivated youth, faculty and mariner crew as they sail to 20+ ports on four continents, engage in voluntary service projects and redefine their roles as global citizens. All academic credits earned with Class Afloat are fully accredited and are transferable to Canadian and international secondary schools, universities and colleges.

One semester, full year options and scholarships are available.
