Global Handprints: Community Development Road Trips

Community Development Road Trips; 2 week, 4x4 journeys through rural South Africa combining volunteer work, cultural experiences and adventure activities. Global Handprints is a small Social Enterprise run with the objective to enable travellers to really see, feel and experience different parts of this amazing country while also providing them with opportunity to contribute to the lives of those in small communities.

Throughout the trip 'Road Trippers' spend time working at a variety of small, grass roots level projects focussing on animal welfare, education, agriculture and community development. In between working days, volunteers will be involved in the local communities, both Zulu and Xhosa tribes, learning about their cultures and taking part in many traditions. Road Trippers travel in Land Rovers in small groups of a maximum of 5 people meaning it's a more personal experience. All routes have been planned away from highways, traveling through rural villages, game reserves, sand dunes and across mountains.
