International Rural Exchange - Australia: Travel & Work Worldwide

Through a network of partners in North and South America, Europe, South Africa, Asia and New Zealand, IRE can assist Aussies to work and travel abroad and also place Internationals across Australia. Placement categories include agriculture, horticulture, apiary, wine and equine. The type of placements IRE its partners can provide will depend on the country, the type of place, the time of year & your level of experience or training. Most placements are family based but some are independent living often with other youth.

Organization details

IRE was started in 1986 and is a non-profit, community-run rural exchange programme in Australia. It offers Australian youth a quality rural exchange experience abroad, and also places international youth within Australia.
