Queen's University: International Teacher Placement Service

The Placement Office maintains a registry of teachers interested in international opportunities, the International Teacher Placement Service. Throughout the year, overseas schools contact the Placement Office looking for appropriately qualified teachers; the positions and location of the schools vary widely. Appropriately qualified teachers are then referred for consideration, which may lead to a limited number of placements each year. This service operates on a year-round basis and is open to teachers with certification in North America. Although the Placement Office is in contact with schools around the world, most opportunities are with schools in Latin America, the Middle East and Asia.

Organization details

Based at Queen's University, ITPS (formerly the Placement Office) helps teachers secure positions in overseas schools. To this end, they hold the annual Teachers' Overseas Recruiting Fair (TORF) for certified, experienced teachers.
