EESA believes that studying abroad can be the most beneficial time of a student’s life; and they are committed to making it affordable for everyone. Students who have applied to study abroad with EESA are eligible to apply for one of the EESA scholarships

“The Clarence and Alberta Giese Endowed Scholarship” honors the Gieses and was established in recognition of the 60th anniversary of IES Abroad in 2010.

These awards are designed to attract high quality overseas research students to the University of Edinburgh. 30 Edinburgh Global Research Scholarships will be awarded per year. Subject to satisfactory progress, the awards are tenable for up to three years.

Candidates can apply for a scholarship from the University of Copenhagen (http://employment.ku.dk/phd/). These scholarships are advertised by the University and ordinarily cover both pay and other (approved) expenses incurred in connection with a student's PhD studies (supervision, courses, travelling, assessment etc.). 

This scholarship is for non-EU/EEA students with excellent academic credentials from their previous education.

Each year a considerable number of scholarships are awarded by TU/e partnered by top international technology companies who are all involved in the Amandus H. Lundqvist Scholarship Program (ALSP), named in honor of the former TU/e President.

Each year the University offers a small number of University Prize Scholarships to the very best PhD applicants.

The Benander Academic Scholarship is designed for the Athena student who can best demonstrate a true love of learning in his/her major area of study, and superior academic abilities.

Individual Fellowships fund experienced researchers looking to enhance their career development and prospects by working abroad. European Fellowships are for one - two years. They fund work or research done within Europe.
