MondoChallenge sends volunteers to help with development programmes in Africa, Asia and South America. All of their programmes are community based, meaning that volunteers live and work alongside local people. Projects include teaching, business development, (HIV/AIDS, agriculture, eco-tourism) and healthcare (clinics).

Participants with GIVE International are interested in 'learning through experience' and come from a variety of backgrounds. Individual volunteer placements last between 4-12 weeks, and participants are encouraged to assist in fundraising to cover the costs associated with their placement.
