MondoChallenge sends volunteers to help with development programmes in Africa, Asia and South America. All of their programmes are community based, meaning that volunteers live and work alongside local people. Projects include teaching, business development, (HIV/AIDS, agriculture, eco-tourism) and healthcare (clinics).

Oikos is an association engaged in the protection of the environment and the promotion of voluntary service. Projects include conservation projects, but recently Oikos has expanded its focus to include humanitarian programmes as well.
