Established in honor of AIA Honorary President Jane Waldbaum, this scholarship is intended to help students who are planning to participate in archaeological field work for the first time.

The Open Society Fellowship supports individuals seeking innovative and unconventional approaches to fundamental open society challenges. The fellowship funds work that will enrich public understanding of those challenges and stimulate far-reaching and probing conversations within the Open Society Foundations and in the world.

The Foundation supports undergraduate college/ university Silver or Gold Award Girl Scouts who plan to study abroad, irrespective of major/minor.

This need-based scholarship is available for students with a cultural and ancestral connection to the country in which they plan to study abroad with SFS.

SFS offers a limited number of travel grants to qualified students to help offset the personal cost of travel to SFS programs.

Stephen Lee was a passionate environmentalist who served SFS in several ways. An endowed scholarship fund was established in his memory by his mother with funds earmarked for Steve’s care during his illness. It is awarded to a student expressing a deep interest in the marine sciences.
