Awarded to a student who has participated in one of the high school seminars.

Awarded to a student who has participated in a previous SEA Semester program.

Awarded to a student who learned about SEA Semester from an alumnus or alumna of the program.

Awarded to a student whose parent participated in a SEA Semester program.

This merit-based scholarship is available for students from colleges in the Five-College Consortium (Smith College, Mt. Holyoke College, Amherst College, University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Hampshire College).

Each year, SEA awards one scholarship to a resident of Canada.

This scholarship is available once per year to a deserving student majoring in Journalism.

The Turkish Coalition of America awards up to 100 scholarships per year for American students of Armenian descent. TCA’s scholarship program is designed to encourage exchanges between Turks and Armenians, while enabling the shared history of both cultures to resurface through mutual dialogue and understanding.

As American minority students are largely underrepresented in study abroad programs, these scholarships are designed to expand study abroad opportunities for such students and foster a greater understanding about diversity in America as well as the perspectives, challenges, and opportunities of different American minorities.
